Anyone know where I can purchase Soundgates Digistar-X? I contacted Soundgate, they said it was on back-order and have no idea when they will get some in.

Save your time, go with the PAC piece- the OS2 Bose w/ Onstar (yes, there is an OS2 w/o Onstar- we checked).  We actually had two bad Soundgate pieces today- both Digistar-X.  One had intermittent static noise, the other produced no sound at all.  The tech support was no help- their solutions actually made the noise worse.

The PAC piece wires up simple enough, and has a built in delay to avoid the turn off pop in the Bose system (no more caps and diodes like with the Soundgate).  The deck will stay on roughly ten seconds after the Bose amp is off- this is normal.
