No simple answer.  It depends on how they are installed.  All three are very good woofers so you can pretty much do what you want with them.

IM going to have to go with the Brahma on this one, because it has more excursion and is alot cleaner at it , it should hit tighter and harder.  But to truely tell you would need to test each sub in its best box with a meter to be shure.

Dyohn is right.  This isn't a simple answer.  First, decide how much space you have.  Second, determine what your goals are.  Third, determine what your budget is.  Fourth, start looking at possible sub and box combinations within your space, goals, and budget requirements.  Model the results.  Talk to people that have experience with the subwoofers you are considering.

No one is going to give you an answer to "which one would bump harder."

I also get a headache when reading those posts.  Bigsingh, we realize that text messaging is a bigger deal in the UK than in the states, but on forums such as the12volt, texting shorthand is annoying to read.

"only" 7 cu ft?  You can work up an ideal enclosure for the L7 with that (sealed).  You're good with box modeling so you should have a good setup.  Keys to success:  at least 1" walls and cross-bracing.

If you are looking for "bump" and have that much space, I would go with a 15" Brahma ported.

Telling you that we don't like shorthand is in no way insulting you.  We like you.  We don't like shorthand.  Simple distinction, don't you think?

The Urban Dictionary says this:

geeza

A Word used to describe a male, independent of race or creed, a bit like bloke. Used more so in the south of England (i.e London) can be used in both a friendly and agressive manner.

I guess it was the friendlier context.  posted_image

The L7 and the SX are the SPL subs out of the ones mentioned. Since it appears you're looking for an all out SPL setup, I'd suggest a 18" SX in around 7 cubes ported, tuned to your liking. (I'd do 32-35hzish). The Brahma isn't an SPL, but could certainly get fairly loud and sound good while doing it. L7's have many problems with their tinsel leads snapping, and of course they lack SQ a good bit. That's my 2 cents.

Throwing L7s in a basic ported box is easy SPL, but all those subs can produce great SPL. I think you might get down to power handling in that catagory... see which one can take the most power (not factory rated RMS).

Hey Steve When you die ummm well next year or so...you should have the 12 volt in your Will.   Me Too,   Just kidding man.     Age is nothing but a number granted I am 23 years Young!     Look at it this way

When you Old you can normally have a higher tolerence to Drinking.   A higher tolerence to Sound, you cant hear anyways from this profession but hey its a good excuse then. I think you are eligble for AARP.    You should be able to afford many more toys then I/We young kids can!

How did we get from "What bumps harder?" to "How old are you?" (Dave scratches his head - "How old am I???")

"Bumps"... Man, I haven't heard THAT phrase since I was going to junior college - some hrmphteen years ago...

On a FAR more serious note, my mother-in-law was dignosed with colon cancer yesterday. Now, while she IS 82, it should have never gotten to the point that it has gotten to. This is what happens when you don't do as recommended by doctors. Everybody of the required age (and you all know who you are) follow SpikeTV's advice - "Check up or Check out" Do it today!

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

Sorry to hear about your mother-in-law Dave.  I hope it is treatable and she does well.  I have had a couple of the rectal rooter exams, and highly recomend being preventative once you are past a "certain" age.

And to jeffchilcott, man I have socks older than you.  posted_image

Good for you!      But I dont have holes at the end of me nor to I have fungus growing on me either...like your socks!   Hey I still admit to everyone I have alot to learn.   Yes I know alot, But You learn new things all the time.

Like today I learned Diamond Amps will ground thru the chasis if the ground fails.    Yes many amps do that anyways, and it a bad thing for sure.    But like I said just something new I learned
