is it good to run two amp's with one power wire to the amp's because the install shop did this one power wire to one amp then jump the power wire to the 2 amp and did the same with the ground wire to and thay cut the rca wire's to make them longer with speaker wire then ran those wire's beside the power wire that is jumping the to amps. so can someone put me on the right track . i guess to do right you have to do it yourself
thanks harmlessv8
Did they not use a distribution block? They just jumped from one amp to the other? Thats pretty ghetto. Cutting the RCA's is too. I'd go back and tell them to either do it right, or refund your money.

Check it out.
extendig rca's is ok, for the most part. But having them near the power wire is only a problem if you experience noise, so if it works don't fix it.
What gauge is the power wire and what are the ratings on the amps?

i am experience some noise in the subs the rca wire to this amp was running next to the power wire thay where taped together the main power to the first amp then a jumper to the 2 amp that is where thay taped the rca wire and this wire is go'ng to the sub amp the power wire is 8g
eww, sounds nasty, I'd get my money back or have it redone properly.
