Very nice.

Another question: Why didn't you mount the amp next to the sub to allow for complete use of the cargo space?

The floor you see is an under cargo area. Thats where the amp is mounted. There is actually a cover that goes over the amp to allow some cargo space. You'll see what I mean in the pics.

The system was designed to show people that you can have a clean install without spending an arm and a leg to get it. My last setup was a fiberglass enclosure and people thought it was too expensive. So we decided to go with one sub in a very simple vented enclosure. The enclosure is around 3 cu ft. I chose the Phoenix Gold amp because I knew they underrated the 500.1. Its rated at 500 watts RMS at 2 ohms. My sub is rated at 600 watts RMS and 1200 watts peak. And the Phoenix Gold amp is actually too much power.  Retail on my entire setup is around $2000. My cost has me under $1000. This includes my indash DVD. When I'm done I'll have 3 more screens, a four channel amp and new mids and highs.
