Konrad, amazing if you have the power.  They've been known to cut out without the right amount of power.

i have a fosgate power amp 70 wrms at 4 ohms, or 140 wrms at 2 ohms. My concernis that i have all infinity's in my car that are 2 ohms, will that be a problem with ehte 4 ohm perfects or should i go with the perfects and just get another amp that can mach the wrms output of the 2 ohms alrready existin. Or do you just suggest to go with the 60.7cs that are 2 ohms....I'm not sure if i will sacrifiec on sound quality. I like the tweeters they can be ajusted thru my eq in my deck, so i feel no problems there. Also do you feel that you are not getting enough mid bass on the components??? I also have 2 subs so maybe thats not doing to be an issue, what do you think???

i have the perfect 6.1's from last year. they are 4 ohm speakers and they are rated at 100Wrms, and i'm using an alpine amp driving 80+ into them. they sound awesome. i listen to mostly heavy metal/ hard rockin stuff; i have played some rap/hiphop as well and it sounds very good.

Go ahead with the 6.5 cs if you want to keep the same amp.  If you can afford a new amp, go with the perfects.  You will not be let down.  There is a very big difference in SQ, but you pay for it.

thanks i guess its time to star lookig for another amp just to power them.. You think that 240 wrms might be a bit much or ok, will they be able to handle that much or is it just too much for them...?

konrad...i had another amp before the alpine and it was pushing 120 watts to those speakers. i have heard that kappa perfects and infinity's in general are extremely power hungry and can handle alot more wattage than they are rated at.

do you think that 245 wrms to each perfect will be ok??

245 watts to EACH perfect (which i think are rated at 100Wrms)?? i think that might be a bit much. i had an amp running 120W to each speaker and it sounded crappy becuase the amp itself was of low quality (bad THD and signal-noise ratio) . the alpine i use now is 40 watts less, but because it is such a high quality product, the speakers sound way better.

are you planning on two sets or one?   Is your fosgate a 4 channel or 2?   Maybe you would just be better off getting the 60.7cs and  make sure you seal up your doors really well or even make a small enclosure if you can in each door.  You don't want to run that much power (140 watts) RMS @ 2ohms to those things without some air resistance.  let us know what you do man!  good luck

i have a 4 channel now 70 wrms at 4 ohms or 140 wrms at 2 ohms, but if i go with the infinity perfects then i think i'll be underpowering it although they rated the amp at about 80 wrms at 4 ohms...what to do??? or just get another amp for the 4 ohms ones or just go with th 2 ohm infinity kappas 60.7cs that are 2 ohm...

You don't need a different amp.  Purchase the set you like the sound of the most.  ANY amp can be used with these speakers, just don't exceed the RMS rating by more than about 10%.  I've set up the Kappa components with 25 WPC amps and they sound great.

I'd love to listen to both spekers but there is no dealer in the area, the closest one is 2 hrs away, so i'm just trying to get some idea of what are others opinions so i can make a choice between the 2. I already have the infinity kappas 3 way in the back and would like to set up a nice cound stage. I was also thinking to get the components in the kick panels by the feet and also get another set of kappa infinitys 3 way 6.5 in the stock holes of the doors. Do you think that might be a bit much, and there might be a possiblity of sound cancelation if i do that????

Don't do that.  Yes, you can create cancellation effects and other nasty effects.  Use one or the other.  If you like the sound of your Kappa speakers now, then sure get another set of Kappas for the front.

I hate kappa perfects with ceramic tweets, or is it alluminum??? anyways i had them & disliked them very much. the tweeter just hisses at you - couldn't stand it. the coaxials sound sweet though. look for kappa perfects that use i think a silk tweeter - i think that would be a better option.

there isn't a perfect that used silk domes.  There isn't even a kappa that uses them, only the reference series, which is a far cry from the kappas and perfects.

ocuriel..the perfect comps are aluminum just to clarify. i first thought that they were too bright at first, but with tweaking the HU settings and amp, i personally love the way they sound.

my bad - you are right, they are alluminum tweets. still dislike them though. takes allot of tweaking to get them to sound good.
