Pioneer Premier SPL

I plan on buying a ts-w3004spl, i wonder why they are so cheap on ebay. About 140 shipped for 1000 rms? That sounds too good to be true. Does anyone have any experience from these subs? ALso does anyone know if they will hit harder in a bandpass box, cuz somone is selling it used with a q-logic bandpass.

a bandpass box will be louder then a regular sealed box but your SQ will be anything but there.  the pioneer SPL's arn't bad...there priced good for what they are but there are better subs out there.  i installed one in a late 90's integra with the 3000 watt SPL amp and he hit 137 db's using the pressure pads (which they've decided to use all around me)  i see your note on the bottom sayind 2 sony's...the pioneer will be louder then those either way, sealed or ported

if its louder does it mean it will hit harder and have more bass?

Both. it will hit harder and with more bass and more than likely sound cleaner if u have enough power going to it with a good properly set up amp.

hi, yea these subs hit quite hard and more alot of air but they are not very good at high voulmes thats all, apart from that they are great, the old 121spl was a record holder over in the Uk for a while so this isn't gonna be any let down
