I work at circuit city and get discounts on infinity, kicker and polk car audio. I was wondering what you all think I should go with to get good clean bass. Basically sound quality but has a kick in it. I'm open to what you guys/gals think.

Can't you get Audiobahn and Sony??? That's where it's at!

Alright bad joke, if you work there, perhaps you could invest some time in listening to some the products, bring in some of your own music and go at it. Those three comapnies are all reputable, and I personally would look at the Perfect sub line. What components are you after? Subs or interior speakers?

just out of curiousity, how much of a discount do they give you?

Yes can you please reveal the discount you get?  It would be pretty interesting to see how much you actually can save.

That's my opinion. Take it, leave it, or correct me.

I get the polk momo's for $119.50 each, plus tax and shipping. I get the infinity 12DVQ's for about $110.50 and they originally cost 444.99. I get the kicker 12in L7 for $150.25 plus tax and frieght. I get the solo-x's for $450. I also get 70% off of all MTX products we carry. I also get DEI accomodations. I like the infinity's but I would like to hear the momo's anyone got a sound clip of them???

ok, good clean bass IS NOT the L7. I've owned an infinity kappa perfect 12.1D, and boy does that thing sound nice!! Polk audio is really nice too (had very good experiences w/ their home audio speakers), and I think they may be louder than the perfects, but not as clear. You really should just listen to them yourself.

I need to work at circuit city.  I am going to buy 2 12DVQ's and that is one hell of a price.  Those are definitely SQ speakers.

God, it must be because it's Halloween. Let me get this straight, you work at a car audio retailer and your discussing employee pricing on a OPEN FORUM? If you follow what this site is about, you don't do that! Use your head man. As for Power Acoustik, like I said it must be because it's Halloween. Trick or Treat......................
