i was poking around online and ran across this:

has anyone used this in their automobile? how does it work and is it a worthwhile piece of equiment? i was just wondering. never heard of it, not that i have alot of knowledge of car audio.

Sounds like a joke. If it was such a fantastic device, why wouldn't every one have one? It is used to restore harmonic loss in recordings. I read a review online about it and it received good reviews. So you must ask your self if it is worth it or are you trying to fix a problem with your system. Some might consider this a band-aid for your system, much like an e.q.

Most items that "enhance" your audio are useless. They end up causing more problems than they do good. I don't have personal experience with this unit so I can't say for sure, just skeptical of it.

Looks like a passive EQ.  I would not suggest wasting any money on it.
