I have a g-body Buick regal and would like to know which way to aim my 2 12" subwoofers.  They will be placed as far forward as possible in the trunk so should I face them to the rear or to the back seat.  I have a ported box.

facing them to the rear usually sounds best, but it's what you like play with it and see what you like.

I was told that putting your subs close to the seats provides a better thump due to air cirrculation. Someone correct me if I am wrong please.

--Also not to jump in with my own question but i have my amp screwed into the back of my seat and the subs are about 6 inhes away, is this unhealthy?
