Beleive it or not, you have to take the entire back of the car apart just to get to the rear speakers starting with the seats.   I only did it once and that was over a year ago.  I used the Crutchfield Master Sheets for the 2001-up Civics to replace the rear speakers in my 4 door 2004 Civic VP sedan, but I can't find them at the moment.

If no one else is able to help, go to Crutchfield and order the master sheets.  It will be the best $5 you ever spent.

Take out the entire back seat assembly, then each side panel and then finally you can get the rear deck uncovered. PITA job.

It amazes me that they made the rear deck one piece.  Would seperate plastic grilles that could have been popped in and out of the rear deck been THAT much more expensive to produce?
