2005 Dodge Magnum radio head unit is powered by  a CAN B bus. The head unit stays on with the ignition off until door is opened. I have an after market amp attached to the factory head unit. How can I trigger the after market amp to activate and de-activate with the factory head unit. I can't find any output on the headunit that is activated when the head unit is activated... Any Suggestions? Thanks

The best bet is to use a low-voltage relay that is triggered off the speaker outputs from the OEM head unit.  PAC makes a couple that I have used.

That's a good tip from DYohm. Has anyone trid this out and if so, what PAC part number did you use. I'm also doing and install in an '05 Magnum. Thanks

Yes, do these work well, or are do they tend to cut out at lower volumes like the voltage sense built into JL amps?
