Just about anything name brand is going to be good. There are too many subs to just throw at you.

Try this link instead and see what you want. Once you have one you like, search on the net about its specs. Because I know this site does'nt provide them...

https://www.woofersetc.com

Do alot of researching about the kinds subs your looking for. Don't let yourself be a trial and error person by hearing your subs. Well, if you want to be you can, thats how I learned.

If you want my opinion, which will be overly opinionated, go buy yourself some 7500's. I picked up a pair on Ebay for $235! That is'nt even the amount of one!($250ea.) And for getting these subs brand new with warranty, its a good deal. Trust me, these subs, will exceed your limitations of bass! This is coming out of someones mouth who owns MTX. The amps they offer on the line is very pleasing as well.

Or, you can get Eclipse Ti's. They offer many good products for your price. Eclipse is one company that does'nt fool around. They are serious in what they do!

Or maybe you'd like to feel some music from 2 1-ohm Kicker L7's! Hehe, but thats gonna cost you more money than you would expect...

You know what the best idea would be for you? Go down to a car audio store. I know you have to have atleast one where you live. Listen to all the different subwoofers, and notice what they look like. Ones that pound harder usually have a bigger magnet, and rubber surround. But not always is that the case.

Are you in the US or The Great White North or elsewhere? FYI, for those of us in Canada, realize that sending a customer a link to a site in the US is not in the buyers best interest due to shipping, warranty, customs and brokerage charges etc.

Basaclly people will plug what htey got in there car for this type of question. My advice, head down to the local shop and ask to sit in there listening room with those subs, another good idea is to hear the subs in a car, listen before you buy. As for buying online i believe most sub makers frown apon it and will not warrantey it.

I'd go with JL if you can get them locally and afford it... after that, alpine, incriminator (incriminatoraudio.com), re audio (reaudio.com).
can you give us a budget and type of car? also remeber that you are limited to your car's electrical system. don't expect to run 1000w on most stock electrical systems!
