Please can anyone tell me who has actually done an 06 silverado extended cab (not crew cab)

I am looking for an under the rear seat box setup,

are these the same as the 03-05 silverado?

where is there room to mount a nice size amp? against the back cabin wall?

I am a dealer, anyone have and good distributors for vehicle specific boxes like this? around SF bay area?

Thanks!

i just talked to my installer and he says that he is pretty sure they are the same as the previous years as far as room under the seat. We usually do 2 JL 10w1v2 underneath those seats and it works great with the amp mountedon the back of the seat. We custom make our boxes so i cant help you as far as getting a distributor, good luck in finding one

Try looking at www.audioenhancers.com. I have sold quite a few and installed many.. fit is nice and box quality was good. They have several models for 05 ext cab chevys.

MTX may also have a thunderform for this vehicle. If it is the same as the previous generation vehicles, the box is great value. It has 2 down firing 10's, made of high impact color matched ABS, sounds amazing and is available muliple ways, a emtpy box, a loaded box and a amplified loaded box. We usually do the amplified loaded box as it is a nice drop in no BS fit, the tonal response is great and it matches really nice with a system that may have either a normal headunit or up to a 50w rms x 4 outboard amplifier.
