I wanted to know if I was to put my sub into two seperate boxes would the response difference be big.  Just to let you know I plan on fiberglassing inside my trunk but I don't want to loose my spare, I have a 2001 buick regal LS.

Just to be more clear all I need to know is if the internal cubic inches are different will the subs respond at different times and levels.

I have a two Alphasonik 12" 800 series ran at 2 ohm into an Alphasonik Pma600hca 900watts x 2 (2 ohms).

Sorry if I'm not clear on my question, didn't quite know how to put it.

How much difference is there in the two boxes?

-------------
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

I'm not sure how much the difference will be, I haven't started building the box yet.  I'll be putting it in the sidewalls of my trunk and there different sizes.  I guess without pictures or even a vauge Idea of what I want to do it'll be kinda had to get an answer.  Let just say that I have a box that is 1.5 and another that is 2.0 would it make a big difference in sound.

You could always glue some odds and ends into the bigger box to reduce the internal volume.

That's my opinion. Take it, leave it, or correct me.
