hi there i have a slight problem, i have recently bought a new car stereo a sony cdx 7750s i have a mondeo st24 and it has a steering wheel remote as standard which i like but im not sure if it will work on my stereo, is there anything i can do to make it work i.e buy a connector that i can just plug in or rewire, any help would be much appreciated thankyou!

Look into a PAC SWI-X. It's a universal steering wheel control interface that works with most makes/models. I believe Peripheral also makes a similar piece.
