Hi all im havin a problem with my system i hope you's can help.

system is head Alpine 9815

sub amp kicker dx 700,kicker L7 sub

ive had the system thumpin no prob with highs runnin off of deck but now ive hooked an an amp to do the highs instead of the deck and ive got noise in the sub that i cant figure out.

ive gone through a pg amp,a orion 225 hcca and now ive got a zapco there(ag200)For the highs.

ive found that the noise sounds like a heartbeat, with or without the car running.

tried different ground locations, tried different rca's,unhooked the subwoofer and the noise was gone, plugged back in, back

unhooked rca's to sub and noise gone, tried putting signal to sub amp from rear rca's noise still there?

what now? if anyone can help, i'd appreciate.

You need to try a different head unit next.

really, that sucks, but thats what i was afraid of.but the subs never made noise b4 introducing the new amp.x3

and the new amp makes no noise without the sub amp?,tommorow ill see if the sub amp still does it without  the zapco......

I even tried running rear rca's(no noise in system)through the output of the dx,to full pass to the zapco and still the noise persists???

Persistence pays off!, acually it was my fault lol.

broke the classic amp munting rule, the chassis of the kicker amp was touching the metal were it was grounded, fixed the with some rubber gaskets and that fixed er right up!

thanx for youre time.
