Problem: CDA-7895 Plays find for about 30-60 seconds and then sound drops out.

Background: About 2 weeks ago I added the KCA-420i to the system with no problems I dropped off my car for some suspension work last thursday and picked the car up yesterday. While the shop had it. My battery went dead.

How the system is hooked up: The Radio is connected to the factory harneses via a Metra adapter. I do not use the radio's internal amp's. I come out of the Radio w/ 1 RCA(rear) and go into a Kenwood EQ/crosover. From there the signal is split in to (3) (1) Front amp Alpine (2) Rear amp Alpine (3) RF Sub amp.

Here is what I have checked so far.

Fuses. all my fuses seem to be intact I haven't dug to far just yet though.

RCA Cables It doesn't seem like a problem between the Headunit and EQ I tried eliminating the EQ same results

Any suggestions on which way to go in regards to trouble shooting this problem?

Try resetting the deck first. After that I would look at the amp grounds ( I'm assuming the amps are coming on)

I haven't tried "re-setting" yet. I will do that this afternoon. Should I disconect the KCA-420i when doing so?
