lately I have been getting a wierd noise in my sub, I get the noise everytime I turn the stereo on or change the track or use anything in the car that takes power(aka lights, wipers, anything liket that)

If I disconnect the rcas from the amp and the noise went away

so any idea as to what my problem is?

*edit* oh yea and this is in a 1986 honda prelude the deck is a pioneer P3300, amp is a mtx amp (dont remember model #) and the sub is a kicker comp vr thats a few years old

Chances are better than the average bear that it is the cd player and it's known crappy circuit design on the ground plane. Rewire the ground wire on the cd player and see what happens.

Not wierd at all, just another reason to visit your local car audio shop.FYI, one of our moderators, Jeff (Velocity Motors), is also here right now for the next day if you want to put a face to the name. He'll be heading back home on Thursday.
