The factory speakers have a harness that connects to the speakers . but when trying to install aftermarket speakers there is no place to install this harness to the speakers .Do I need to get some adapter to connect the speakers?

There are speaker adapters for most manufacturers sold by places like Crutchfield.

Go to general info on the left side of this page and click on vehicle wiring, it's in there.

Clip them off and crimp on .125 and .250 female spade connectors.

Thats not the issue. the harness that I crimped together I dont know what cable is the postive wire and negative wire on the car harness. since I can plug the speaker harness with the stock harness together but at the end of the speaker harness I got two crimped ends but I dont know what end should go to the postive tap on the speaker and negative tap.
