your talking about the Peripheal plug?
sS
i'm talking about the flat rectangular 9 pin plug on the back of the delco cd/radio , i think its used to plug in an aux. cd player.
but there must be a way to run in just the audio from the output of an aftermarkert dvd system.
Thanks.

kgerry is right; or you can also get PAC's AUX-BOX and AB-GM9, several options for you to choose from. all are plug and play, I would highly recommend going that way rather than splicing your own wires in.

Life moves pretty fast; if you don't stop and look around once in a while; you could miss it.
but i don t understand any of that, i'm just a rookie.
i just want to know what pins of the 9 pin plug are for the audio in.

I think what everyone is trying to tell you, is that since you ARE a rookie, it'd be in your best interest (and a lot less of a hassle for you) to just get one of the adaptors they mentioned.

it's not a case of just knowing what pins are the actual audio path... you have to have some type of data protocol to tell the unit to open and close that audio "gate" (pathway)
I use the GMAUX-9 from Axxess (Metra) here and they work fine in this application.......
