I believe I already know the answer, but I figured I would get your opinion on this. Is there any differnece between home audio rca cables (i.e. monster interconnects, etc.) and rca cables made by car audio companies. I was wondering what is preffered by you audio proffessionals ou there. I was wondering if there is any difference in shielding, voltage capability, etc.

Thanks

the only difference is in the price for example the monster cable rcas can be used for both car and home. (the Good Kind) they are both going to contain the same properties. but they might change color of packaging or something to apeal different markets. i have used both in both situations i did not see, feel or hear a difference. when using quality stuff. it will work either way.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.

Nothing different at all... except, maybe price.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
