Hey guys,
I am installing a complete aftermarket system in this vehicle with the Harmon-Kardon system. My question is it going to effect any other systems in the vehicle to totally eliminate the factory system (i.e. GM door chimes). I don't want to deal with the factory amp or HU. Thanks!

Not that I remember. I actually have one of these cars coming in next week (except it is a PITA convertable)

Also, are there any other concerns I should have. Never done a Beamer before.

There are no issues with eliminating the deck that I know of. As far as working on bmw's go, the main advice I have for you is re-run all the wiring for the stereo, dont take apart anything you dont have to and TAKE YOUR TIME. The fit on those cars is very tight but also very prescise. It takes time to do them right.

Do you guys charge a higher price for these types or vehicles? I did a MBZ and I added 15% to my labor rates since it was a similar pain in the arse.
