I have a DPX1001.1 running 2 phoenix gold xenon 10's. The amp keeps clicking out and the power light begins to flash. It worked fine for a while now this problem happens non stop. I even put a cap in to stabalize it. Does this Amp just suck, or whats the deal. I really need some help on this one.

Personally, yes that amp suxorz. Next it is going into protection for a reason, find out the reason. Do you have a sub that is dead shorting? Is the rca cable shorting? Fix the problem and the amp might live to die another day. The flip side is that it is dead and something else caused it to die.

they have done multiple system checks, thought it was the head unit, that didnt help.. thought it was the subs but they read at 2.8 ohms dual 2's, i thought it was a messed up impedance but i dont know...
