I  have a pair of rockford fosgate pwr-410 10 inch subs.  I found the chart for the specs but theres no peak power rating, just rms which is 300 watts. these are single 4 ohm woofers so i will be running them off of my fosgate 1000.2. its rated at 275x2 rms and 550x2 peak @ 2 stereo. I dont want to kill these woofers but does any one know the peak. im guessin 600 but i cant find it any where. i would appreciate some help

Check the RockfordFosgate Knowledge Base. https://www.rockfordfosgate.com/

Oh...the 410s are rated @ 300 watts.

Most of those old 1000.2's ran up around the 1200w rms into 4 ohms bridged. That would be the perfect amount of power for the 4 svc 4 ohm subs that you have. You can and will kill any sub if you breach either the thermal or mechanical barriers of the sub, regardless of the rms or peak wattage claim of the sub. Heat is the killer here. Read Stephen K's sticky thread on Too Little Power.

"Peak Power" is a made up term for people who have no clue what RMS means....
