pioneer avic-z1 dvd changer?

today i installed a avic-z1 in a customers van...it had a avic-n1 and n2 before...now he wanted to upgrade to the z1...well he also has the p90 dvd changer and it only plays audio..no video to the z1's screen...i was told that the p90 is not compatible with the z1...is this correct?

i know the z1 can control the p90 cause when i used the video out of the dvd changer the output was there....and i could change things with the z1...but still no video on the  z1...any ideas?

and i tried pioneer tech but they never called me back...

well i talked to the guys at pioneer...they really were not any help...one guy told me that the older dvd changer would work with it...and the other guy said it does not .....and it dont....for all those wondering...

lol
