I have a 2006 Dodge Ram and I have been looking at putting some of the new Infinity Kappa speakers in it. I was just wondering if the factory stereo could handle the 2ohm load? I plan on replacing the head unit but not until my free year of sirius is up. Thanks for your opinions.

Depending on what size kappas you go with you WILL need an amp or you will overdrive your headunit, it may play loud for a while but after a few minutes of heavy bumping it will overheat and either cut out or have a lot of distortion.
