just finishing installing a kicker 800.2 amp and everytyhing is working fine.  It puches the the 2 12's that i have pretty hard without clipping out  but whenever i turn the system off and take out thekey, the green power light on the amp doesnt come off.  Any idea what the problem might be?  Im thinking maybe the amp is messed up.  The amp also has a red kicker logo in the middle of the amp that lights up when the amp is running, that goes out when the system is off but not the power light.

Maybe the power light is just an indication that the amp is seeing a positive and a ground.  Those connections are still in an powered circuit even when you turn the car off.

The light on the top of the amp is probably what is triggered by the 'acc' wire.

I wouldn't worry about it.

I also forgot to mention that I have another kicker amp running my mids and  that power light goes off when the system is turned off.
