about to redo my curent system and i need some advice from the pros. Im not going for competition and i am stuck on staying with kicker products( just like the way they sound). Just thought i would throw that out there form the beginning:)

I have a 99 cougar with 2 12's in the trunk.  I want to put a 3 speaker setup up front but kicker does have any so i have to combine my own. I was thinking of using the KICKER RS65.2 6.5" 2 WAY RS COMPONENT SPEAKERS  for the mids and highs  but now i need another pair of speakers for the bass.   (or maybe i could just use these for highs and base and get another pair for mids) any ideas???/ :errr:  thanks

Many times you are going to make things very complicated and hard to adjust by doing what you propose.  You could always get a dedicated mid-bass woofer for the front but you'll be looking at a more complicated setup.  The stickies about front soundstage setups might be able to answer some questions you have.

this will be complicated, yes. you would need to make your own cross over or get 2 amps for the front and imaging is hard. just go with a 2way component setup. Have you heard those kicker speakers?
where are you going to mount your tweeters? What kind of amp do you have?
