ok basically i have 2 300w rms @ 2ohm amps powering a t112d2 which rms's at 600w. I have one amp on each coil, now basically what i need to do is to check the power coming out of the speaker terminals of both because they are not strappable so basically i need them to be letting out identical power for each coil to work together properly. Now ive looked at normal voltammeters and they have tolerances of a few amps so im thinkin that plugging one of these to the speaker terminals at the amp will blow the meter, so i basically dont know what im doing so if anyone noes the proper procedure i would be very greatful so i can get this beast singing loud, thanks in advance!

It won't matter... you can have them mismatched, and nothing "bad" will happen. Worst case scenario, if one amp was COMPLETELY off, and the other was COMPLETELY on, you would be only down 3dB from both of them completely on. Since no amp will ever be completely off, at worst, you might be down MAYBE .5dB, and you'll never hear that.

Otherwise, if you're dead-set on doing this, put your HU balance all the way to one side, set the gain accordingly, and then do the same with the other side. That'd probably be the easiest method for you. Just get it close. You'll be fine.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

lol ye well i did try but at the moment on higher volumes the amps both cut out, so im thinkin that one amp is not allowin the other to push as hard as it wants and for sum reason they both cut out, now ive even tried the audoble test and both amps seem to be running the same volume :S

No, that is impossible.  If the amps are cutting out (and if by this you mean shutting down) and nothing is defective then either you have the impedance load too low, the input gain too high, or your vehicle's electrical system cannot supply high enough voltage.  Or any combination of the three.

ermmm ok now i have a stinger alt n batt setup so i dont think the charging system is lettin it down and the two amps run off a 0awg wire, the gain on both is below half and the coil is running at 2 ohms lol ok now im confused errmmmm both amps are new, so what could i try to overcome the problem, its realy late now but i could hav a little fiddle with the gains tomorow, any suggestions?

ok a rockford t112d2 so its the 1200w 600w rms dual 2 ohm T1 12'' woofer, the amps are a brand called toxic i dont think u will be familiar with them in america but they are low end, i dont expect much out of it but one of them used to power the t1 fairly nicely at 1ohm not to such a high volume but it sounded quite clean, so i was hoping that two of these cheao amps would power the beast but its a little let down, i no i shouldnt be using crappy amps but they were free lol

The only reason I asked was not to bash your choices, but so I could look up the specs and offer better suggestions on how to set it up.  If it's something I can't look up then it is also possible it is not truly stable at 2-ohms.
