Im going to do a system in a 2004 Jeep Liberty w/ the Infinity system for a friend. Apparently, there is an amplifier in each door on the actual speaker. Im going to put in 4 Speakers, a mono amp, and two subs. Since it will keep the stock HU, how do I wire up the aftermarket 6.5's? I have heard to bypass the amps, but does the stock HU have an amp built in at all? Or can I take the amps off the speakers and use them with the new speakers?

Pretty much, how do I connect aftermarket speakers into an infinity system while keeping the stock HU (and buying a new 4channel amp for the new speakers?

Thanks in advance

Typical Infinity system from Dodge doesn't use separate amps in each speaker, that's a Bose thing. Replace the speaker as normal if you are using the OEM deck... nothing special about this installation unless your replacing the HU. For the mono amplifier, use the high level input ( if applicable ) for an input signal.
