I ordered an HID kit for my motorcycle yesterday, and I'm going to need to delay the HID's from coming on till I can get the bike started and the charging system going.  It cuts out the headlight when you hit the starter switch and rapidly supplying and removing power is VERY bad for HID ballasts/bulbs.  I've searched for instalation manuals for the DEI 528T timed relay, but haven't really found what I'm lookin for.  How, exactly, do I need to wire this up?

what if you just change the headlight power to an ignition source rather than accessory (which it seems to be on if it shuts off during crank). It is always better to run new power anyways with HID's, so just take the extra step and wire it up with the ignition instead of acc. Not really familiar with a bike, but there has to be an ignition source that wont shut off during crank.

Yea, sorry, I forgot I posted over here about it.  I got it wired up and working.  I love it!  It's so much better than stock.

"bike" reffers to the headlight connector on the bike and "bal" is the HID ballast.
