ADS is proud to announce the release of weblink 5 including KLON.

KLON is offering a Professional Installer the ability to complete a remote starter install in a Ford vehicle equipped with a 40 bit immobilizer using only one vehicle valid key for programming.

Using an iDatalink ADS-AL CA and the KLON service a professional installer will have the ability to replace a vehicle valid key (using a data interface for remote start) and replace the dealer scantool which would be required to program a new key to the vehicle.

Enjoy!

are you working for idatalinks promotional team?

i thought the 1key solution was already available from idatalink for awhile now if one was lost...a custom firmware was used.

are you saying only one key will need to be used now?

The custom firmware for a one key solution on older Fords was taking around 2 hours to process and was based on engineering availability. Now with KLON it's done in seconds through 24/7 support servers.

Regards!

I sure wish there was more technical information about the KLON system.   Or training for dealers at the very least.

What exactly is there to be "trained" on. It's a very simple process.

Can you use the Klon feature if you're not a dealer?

You must use this form (  https://www.idatalink.com/user/registration ) to register
and meet their requirements.  Here is the note at the bottom of the form :

Weblink registration is reserved for registered installation retailers and/or installers
only. Access to KLON firmware will be granted upon registration approval by ADS within
one business day via email notification.

Dei's xpresskit can also do 40 bit ford with one key now. The Key2Go function also works with some older chryslers that require 2 keys. Check out my website and email me if you ever have any Xpresskit questions I can help you out with! https://www.akremotestart.com/

In fact this topic is very old news.

Now all bypass companies are offering a one key solution for Ford 80BIT.

The new game changer is the way Fortin is doing them now with standalone solutions using only the bypass module.

The 2004 Explorer has a 40 bit system and yes the Blade cartridge flashed with the TB FM2 firmware will allow KLON programming with only one working key.  Follow the Install Guide #11558 programming and extended programming steps on Page 14.
