Did i miss something or is Jeff psychic? posted_image

If you need to disarm the factory alarm before remote starting, you will need to use something other than the unlock wire. I cant remember if Ford factory security doesnt like the car being remotely started when armed.

its just a basic keyless entry system im trying to install, but if you unlock it without disabling the factory alarm the alarm goes off, there is a wire in the car that is factory alarm disable but i dont know what to use from the alarm since the alarm does not have an output to connect the alarm to the car to disable it, so I was wondering what output to use from the alarm, it basically has lock and unlock, trunk release, ground, and starter interrupt and ignition.

Follow Securinu's advice, and run the second wire to the Dark GREEN/ Purple wire in the drivers kick panel.   It is a negative pulse to that wire will turn the alarm off.  Your output from the alarm should be negative on unlock.

After reading my post, I dont think it was clear.  The output from your keyless entry unit should be negative pulse, If your Mustang did not come with keyless then its a 5 wire lock system.  How do you have the lock and unlock wires hooked up?  If your using relays for the locks, then split the negative unlock output from the keyless unit  BEFORE  the relays, diode isolate and run the second wire to the Dark GREEN/ Purple wire in the drivers kickpanel.

You can also tap most of your wires in the trunk where the anti-theft module and remote keyless is located.   Chuck.
