I had a Viper 160vx and 555L bypass module installed about a year ago. I haven't had any problems until about a month ago, unless you count the installer but that's another story. Now after about 5 minutes the security light comes on when started with the remote start, not with the key. I have read that that is a passlock problem and I am thinking that the 555L is acting up. I am at work and searching the forums on a PDA, and not having much luck. Thanks for your time and any help that can be given.

Take it back to the installer, assuming its from an authorized dealer and its new it should be under warranty.
