Hello, I just installed a cs-2015-fm in my 1993 f-150. It works fine until I drive the vehicle or just turn on the key manually, then the remote start will not start the truck. The door locks work, but no start. If I momentarily disconnect bat. power from #4 bat wire then the remote works fine again, until I drive it. Its as if I need a on/off switch on bat. power to reset brain every time I park. Any suggestions out there? Thanks Raymo

When you say that the remote start does not start the truck do you mean that it tries but fails or does it just turn the lights on and then nothing ? No starter engagement or anything ?

The kit comes with a relay and a harness for the relay. Recheck the connections for this relay harness. The relay is the starter disable.

Thanks for the quick reply. The remote does nothing, no click, no lights, except the door locks still work. Untill I disconnect the #4 bat. wire momentarilly, then it starts perfect as many times as you want, until I turn on the key to drive and shut it off. I don't have a starter disable. Thanks Raymo

For some reason, it sounds like you're getting the wrong 12v source. My thinking would be to get a different 12v source and test it again... I know most systems say get the 12v from the battery directly and I realize that it's not always practical to do that, but you might want to start there. I've got the same system and went directly to the battery, even though I could've gotten power from the ignition harness.
