I have had and used the RS727 before and it is a great unit.  Had a couple small problems...but nothing major.  I have installed some APS997s on 2 trucks for a friend and although they seem a little more complicated in wiring and etc....seems to be a pretty solid unit.

I guess either has ups and downs....but what is ya'lls opinion of them??

Thanks!!

Not familiar with the RS727, but my Dad has 3 997s and won't even try any other product.

We carry both those units and do a lot of them. If I had to chose between them I whould chose the aps-997a. Just because of the amount of features on the unit. And the shock sensor is a little better than the Autopage.

If you want to go tachless use the rs727. But either one is good.
