I'm having problems with a remote start on a 2006 dodge ram 4-door gas burner.  I've tried two ways, one with the two relays, with the resistor's on ground, and the directed bypass for mux systems, both ways, the a/c, radio, and all the dash lights and stuff will come one, drop out when it tries to start, come back on after the start cycle, but it won't start, nothing. The starter never engages. I tried different ohms of impedance from 550 to 650 on the start relay, it will click, but won't start. I'm about to pull my hair out with this one. The key chip isn't the problem, I've established that one already. It will start with the key that I took apart. Anyone have any input on this one?

Which bypass you used? PKUCH2x?? did you learned the bypass to the car keys( tranponder) When using the module no resistors are requiered.

it's the XK532. I tried it first with the two relays and resistors, before I went to the bypass, same thing on both, the remote start cycles through the start sequence but the starter never engages.

there is a document that states you need to install a 1 K ohm resistot don,t know if it applies on you car using that module. Does the car has a starter wire or not? in no it uses the Mux wire to do the crank here is tha latest Install manuual, just in case you have an old manual.

Also did you program the Key tranponder?

Also VERY important make sure to grab the PURPLE / BROWN MUX wire right at the Ignition switch, many installers make the mistake of using the wire that runs down the steering whheel column. The Mux wire goues up in to the SKREEM module. It sound like you used that wire.

list the wires you connect of the starter to the car and type of starter

I also did the 1k ohm resistor.

autopage 602, keyless/remote start unit.

start wire to pink wire on bypass, PURPLE / white on bypass to PURPLE / brown on truck.  purple on bypass to data WHITE/ orange?, (i think, the truck's not here right now.) I wired the relay on the brown wire using ign 1, and the GWR (also tried grounding instead of using the GWR wire from the remote start) red 12v black ground. brake wire on remote start on WHITE/ brown on brake pedal switch, the power for the remote start was taken directly from the battery, good ground on the r/s and the neutral saftey wire,

I got the PURPLE / brown directly off the back of the ign cylander.

as far as the key bypass, I didn't program it, because I used one of the chips out of the keys on the bypass ring. like I stated before, it was starting with the key that I took the chip out of.

did you connect the starter wire of the Remote starter ot the pink wire of the bypass, You also need to connect it to the starter wire in the ignition switch Dark green / YELLOW

yes, starter went to pink wire, but I didn't know about the GREEN/ YELLOW start wire, audiovox lists a yellow/gray start wire under the hood, but it says not to use it. So is the GREEN/ YELLOW in the ign harness a + or - ?

It has the second start wire even though it's the negative mux second start setup?

It'll be a day or so before I can get in it again, I'm just trying to get all the info I can before they bring it back.
