2007 Kia Optima  has a negative defogger trigger.     The 5900 has the H3/5 negative status output wire designated for defogger use.  It supplies - 200ma.    Is a relay necessary to trigger the  vehicles - defoger turn on?  Thank you.

well you can try it as is, it won't hurt, as either way you won't mess anything up, but it just may suffice as, the wire ur tapping into will be triggering an existing relay in the vehicle. just a thought.
