I installed an audiovox 9276 remote start/keyless entry& FLDL1 bypass on this car recently. Starts and operates fine, but I get the dreaded "Service theft System" on the messsage center and after a while the radio cuts out. Does not happen when started with the key. Not missing any ignition wires, keysense is hooked up. Tried interrupting ignition wire to PK module. No luck. From what I've found it seems to be a common problem with some GM vehicles. Any Ideas to make it go away?

It will likely be your bypass module. I have seen the same issue with some other Cadillacs. The module may produce the correct transponder response into the car, but the vehicle also wants to see the key present. You can try sending a ground to the light green key sense wire while under remote start. This may cure the problem. Otherwise, you will probably have to switch to another type of bypass.

When in doubt, call tech support...

Found out they had a new version of the firmware for the bypass specific to the CTS. Just hidden on the website where you couldn't find it.

Flashed the module& it works like a charm. posted_image

What was the version you flashed to make it work right?

I see the fLDL says it activates the heated seats and defrost on the vehicle specific page but on the FLDL install pdf, it says it doesnt have that option on the Cts. Do you know which one is right?
