Did a Remote Start/Keyless on an 08 Nissan Titan and used the DLPK bypass from DEI, customer is saying the factory alarm is constantly going off (horn honking) but I noticed in the Manual the DLPK says it does not control the factory alarm, can someone tell me how I can disarm this and stop it from going off??

Note the factory wiring.

Assuming you used the red wire at the driver's door switch for unlock, just connect the "factory alarm disarm" wire from the RS on to the unlock wire and you'll be fine.

As stated above, I used the DLPK, does locks through data, but the instructions for the DLPK say it doesnt not control the factory alarm, so I dont understand how it is going off??

hardwire the door locks and program for double pulse on unlock.

Also you should look at the note on page 11 of the DLPK's manual about controlling the OEM alarm on non-Intellikey vehicles. If your BCM looks like that you can avoid running the wires into the door.

The OEM alarm on many vehicles will arm if it detects "lock switch" and "driver's door open" at the same time; this would happen if your customer locked via the aftermarket remote before shutting the door. (The DLPK most likely sends the same data signal as the lock switch on the door would do.)

I guess I can try to use the factory alarm disarm off the RS and tap into those empty BCM pins and hope for the best, I really do not want to have to hardwire door locks....
