i have a 2000 mustang gt and this is the third time the computer wont recognize the key and i have to tow it to ford and pay 100 dollars to get it started.is there a simple way to bypass this.right now its in my garage and it wont start theft light flashing.please help.

unfortunately that I know and my experience there is not way to disable the system unless they key was the problem you would be able to may be replicate the key with a transponder bypass how ever the majority of modules requires one key for programing this is a very common problem that I have seen over the years with the PATS and it always end up with the costumer getting a new PATS system and new keys.

do you have a 2nd key

getting another one would tell you if its the key or the car

and also allows you to program anther key without going to the dealer
