Did you make sure you used a GROUND OUT WHEN RUNNING WIRE as your trigger wire for the module ?

sure did.. i ops checked it and everything. I hooked the red wire to the constant on the column, then the blue wire to the negative output and remote started it to see ifi it was activating the module. It does bc i can hear and feel the internal relay kicking over. Then if im understanding the instructions correctly, im to... first, take the first key and turn to the RUN position, wait for the THEFT light to go out, stick teh 2nd key, same process, then hold the capsule up to the ignition adn remote start it.Sound right??

You have to be quick....
Key one on until light goes out, key off, then quickly
Key two on until light goes out, remove key, then quickly
Place module into key cylinder (where you would put the key), and activate remote start. Security light should go on solid and car should start.
Place module on side of key cylinder and secure. Test until you find a spot that works, put column back together.

i see what your talking about.. my problem is then that the remote start isnt activating quick enough. Its delaying too long. All that has to be done within 10 seconds right?

Do realize that you can manually engage the 555f? Just jump the blue wire to a constant ground source such as a metal dashboard support bracket.

Ford dealers also sell a bypass module and it's got a ring that fits tightly around the key cylinder antenna, so it will always work right the first time & won't move around like the dei 555f will. The part # is 1l3z-19g365-ab
