Hey Guys/Gals,

I have a 95 Integra Rs, with no power door locks. I also wanted to install the Inwells car alarm system (been sitting in my room for about 2 years, Piece of doodie) with LCD pager and remote start! Now my question is, do I need to install power door locks or in the instructions the Central control lock Crods wires to get my remote engine to start or even get the alarm to work? Pretty much, I do not care about Keyless entry. If I can't get the remote engine to work, love it! but Since im lately adding a doodie load to the car and parking in school 8 hr days, I need an alarm for some personal insurance and the Lcd pager!

Any help or input would be Great!

ThanX

First off.... as you can see, it's NOT a good idea to use the word s**t.

Second... is your can a manual transmission?   If your car does NOT have power locks, thats just OK! just don't

forget to lock your doors.  It will work just fine... provided it's an automatic..

So that's what a doodie is. Hi Gary. What are control lock CROD wires?

Yeah, my apologizes for the wording, just frustrated!

It is a Manuel transmission! What do I need to do that is diff from automatic?

Well, for my Teg, ive been reading that people have Negative Touch off with 95 integra!
So this is what is mentioned in the instructions for negative Touch Off, In this order:
orange=has a scissor
White=Close
Yellow=Negative (-)
ORANGE / black=has a scissor
WHITE/ black=open
yellow/black=Negative (-)

I have a 10 pin 10 wire plug!
Colors are in this order:
Purple= high voltage coil (+)
yellow/black=Negative (-) (Control Crod wires)
WHITE/ black=open (Control Crod wires)
ORANGE / black=has a scissor (Control Crod wires)
Yellow=Negative (-) (Control Crod wires)
White=Close (Control Crod wires)
orange=has a scissor (Control Crod wires)
Brown=Directional lamps
Brown=Directional lamps
Yellow= purple to the 85 (Little Black Pin adapter)

I also have a 5 pin, 4 wire plug in this order:
green=hand brake or ground
white=to lock ACC
Orange= (+) brake switch impuit
Blue= (-) door switch input)

My Question now is, do I still need to connect the control crod wires if i don't have the Power locks wires and can just close them off?

You don't need the locking wires, what's a crod?

Im guess the lock crods is just a name from the company or it can be a typo of lock cords! But crods is what is in the instructions...

Thank you very much, I'll be installing the alarm this weekend...hopefully all goes well! :D

It seems this unit will be garbage! Minus well get a system that has good support, Lcd pager, remote Start, And probably power lock converter!

Any suggestions for a system easy to install, and not a pocket breaker? Noob Here!

ThanX!

YEah, Will Do! Thinking about the Viper 5900 SST! Should be A good install! and Doing Power lock conversion...might just save the hassle and have the shop do it, then open it up and look at how they did it to understand the wiring and what goes where and why!

Thanx

I've been thinking, if the installation instructions are that carefully translated, what's the rest of the quality like? posted_image

THis Inwells model is the USA version! so all in proper english and diagrams. some dude/lady on the other post looking for the manuel been telling me that they never had a problem with the unit for 3 years now, until she replaced the battery, basically reconfiguring the remote with the alarm unit, that was it.
