Does anyone have the instructions on how to program the run time from the factory setting of 10min to 20 min?  I tried following the channel 2 sequence for a 270i...Still only runs 10 mins.  I have some programming sheets for the 290i, but nothing specific to change the run time or activate the cold start function.

Any help woul be greatly appreciated.

Sorry.....Forgot.  It's installed in a 1998 GMC Sierra ext cab 4X4.  Also it's the 2 button remote.

LOW TEMPERATURE

this feature must be turn'd on by the installer during programming! if the unit is not programmed by the installer the low temperature will not work.

1. insert key into ign, turn to run position,but do not start.

2. press button 1 within 6 sec's.the led will light up for 2 secs, go to step 3 within 6  seconds or programming will end.

3.when led shuts off, press button 2 and once again the led will light up for 2 secs

4.when the led shuts off press and hold buttons 1 & 2 together until  the led lights up.the led will remain lit for 2 secs and then shut down.YOU ARE NOW READY TO PROGRAM.

5.when led lights up you have 3 secs to make your selection //

button 1 >>>   -30'c   1 led flash

button2 >>> -23'c    2 led flash

button 1 & 2 >>>  -9'c    3 led flashs

no buttons >>>>  -16'c    4 led flash's

the led will shut down immediatley after a button is pressed or after 3 sec's if no buttons are pressed defaulting to   -16'c

the led will light up again and wait for button 1 , 2 , or  1 & 2 together. this is the run time programming.if no buttons are pressed within 3 sec's the unit will default to a 10 min run time /

button 1 = 5 min / 1 led flash

button 2 = 15 min / 2 led flash

button 1 &  2  = 20 min / 3 led flash 

no buttons = 10 min / 4 led flash's

at the end of programmingthere will be a report of your selections for temperature and run time. the start of the report begins with the led remaining lit for about 2 sec's this is followed by a flash report. the led will then flash the low temperature selection you have madethen the time selection //

i hope this helps that was from a 290i manual.
