Does an 06 Cobalt have rod or cable style door locks. Has anyone tried installing an actuator if it is the cable style and how to.

I've only done a handful of cars for power locks, but I did do a 2-door Cobalt.

Would have to say it's the easiest car I've done for locks....it was almost a pleasure.

Uses rods, plenty of space in the door, easy access to attach the rods. Nice big rubber boot to run the wires through. Easy-to-remove door panels.

Sorry I don't remember any exact details, but it'll be really easy.
