The door locks on my 1995 Gmc sierra extended cab truck are acting really weird recently. They only work if the driver's door is shut, if the driver's door is shut then both doors work unlock and lock even if the passenger door is open. but if the driver's door is open then no buttons work except the unlock button on the passenger door. If you could help me out it would be greatly appreciated

Possible broken wire making intermittent contact, when the door is in the closed position.
Possible grounding issue, of the same.
