MagiCar is made by younshin electronics, their website is https://www.magicar.com

Overall, i am not impressed with the magicar FAI-8100 remote start unit. My big complaint is that the instruction manual is wrong and does not correctly state how to get into programming mode. And i cannot figure out how to get into valet mode without the remote fob (bad if you loose the remote or drop it into a puddle and cannot start your car one night). Also, maybe it's an isolated incident but one of the remotes lost it's programming and will not mate back to the base station.

Additionally, the lcd remote is very difficult to see. And the green backlighting is useless during the dark nighttime hours.

Well, thanks for the reply. I went to the site, but no manual. I know from start Magicar is just an average alarm system, not a quality one. However, I got it 90 dollars, so it was an okay deal I guess, for a 2 way LCD. Is the LCD that bad with the backlighting?

Hey,

Yeah, the remote is that dark. I could not see it unless in daylight. The backlight seems to be only from the top, where there is no action on the LCD. Duhh...
