I have a Compustar Pro with main brain CM5000. Everything works great except remote start. I did tach learning getting a good signal so that TACH is ok.
I cut green loop because it is auto trans.
So when I press/hold remote start button. IGNITION is ON, But it does not crank. then IG ON/OFF 3 time, it shut off itself.
CN1-PIN5(violet) is negative trigger wire to activate the relay to crank the car.I measure it. It has ground when armed. but it loses signal during remote starting. It seems problem is here. is there any programming to use this function?
I jump a wire to yellow wire on relay, car is cranking and successfully started!
Can anyone wakes earlier helps me this? I spent all nite long working on this.
I didn't hook up CN1-PIN3. Would it be a problem? The tech of Compustar said it should be a problem. The car is not here now. I might test it tomorrow. I want to know this before I check it tomorrow.
Can anyone helps me?

That is the starter kill relay trigger. The wire you want to test is the yellow starter wire. See if that wire has 12v on it when remote starting. If you are using the starter kill relay, make sure the yellow wire is hooked up to the correct side of the vehicles starter wire.
What is the year make and model of the vehicle?

There is no power at all at any yellow wire.
On the relay the YELLOW wire is the starter side of the cut starter wire on the car and the YELLOW/BLACK is the keyside. Test the output at the CN1 connector during remote start for 12 volts during crank. If there's no voltage during crank at the connector ( YELLOW WIRE ) then there's something wrong with the CPU, bring it back to the shop that you purchased it from and get a new CPU.
