I am preparing to install a Autopage RS-900 in a 2008 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab. I have went over the manual, and the wiring information. I have a few questions I want to be sure on before I start.
1. Second starter relay 85 (-) to 2nd starter output of RS900, 86 & 30 Constant 12 V (+), 87 to 2nd Start wire in truck. Is this all correct?
2. Parking lights. On board relay Parking lights are (+), so nothing needed at the input, just use the output to the BCM connector in truck?
3. Door Unlock, both the unlock and the 2nd pulse unlock wires to the unlock wire in truck, Do they need Diodes? Some say yes some say no, just want to be sure.
4. Negative All door trigger, does this need a diode? Since this the all door trigger, I don't have to go to each door?
5. Horn If I sue this it is a (-)200mA output, can it hook directly to horn or does it need a relay? If a relay what type and how should it be wired?
6. Dome Light Supervision (-) polarity on truck What type and size relay and how should it be wired. I have read 10a and 30a on the relay.
Have a friend to do the soldering ex Military Electronics technician with certification in soldering and board level repair.
Just want to double check, so we don't make any mistakes.
Thank You

start relay looks fine

parking light circuit connection is right?  Does your truck have autoheadlights?  If so dont forget to shut those off after remotestart shutdown

def diode isolate those unlock wires if you have to hook them up that way.  I would be surprised if the autopage doesnt have a double pulse unlock circuit, and considering where you are supposed to tag lock and unlock for them to always work it might be a preferred option to have both doors unlock on one push of the remote instead of two...just my opinion...

dome light supervision should work automatically without connection to the start brain if you grab the lock/unlock circuit at the appropriate wires..

horn circuit should be fine if your grabbing it at the steering column....

I personally prefer to use individual door triggers as opposed to dome light output but if you do grab it there you should be able to monitor the doors opening...

You should be able to connect the two unlocks directly to the unlock in the truck. First pulse will unlock just drivers door like it's supposed to. Horn needs no relay. All door trigger is fine with no diode, you don't need to get all the doors separately. The wire you use isn't the dome light wire but the door indicator light wire. As for DLS, try using the drivers door wire with no relay, should work...
