i installed a prostart 3310 with a IDatalink ADS DLSL GM Bypass connected through R232 data port on the remote start. When I try to start the truck it powers up everything but it wont try to crank the engine also the door locks wont work . I have followed the program procedure for the bypass and tried another bypass and it wont wok. any suggestions

disconnect the rs232 data port and connect everything wire-to-wire. On that note, the default of the data port is for xpresskits, not ads modules or fortin. if you want, you need to go into programming and change it.

what firmware is on the bypass

how did you program the bypass

when you program for the GM cars you need to follow very carefully and do exactly what it says, if it doesn't work the first time try again it may take a few times to get it right
